Background
The night sky is filled with a multitude of magnificent stars.
While each star on its own provides a glimmer and sparkle,
together they shine glorious beauty upon the
lands and shores of Middle Earth.
Of those stars, the constellation known to the Eldar as Valacirca,
the Sickle of the Valar, was set in the heavens by Varda
to enlighten the awakening of the Elves and gathered by
Varda from among the ancient stars. It was set in the
Northern Sky as a sign of doom and warning for Melkor
and a sign of hope and promise for the Elves.
Valacirca is known by many names such as The Burning Briar,
The Plough, The Wain, Durin's Crown, Seven Stars, Silver Sickle,
but regardless of how it is called, it is the most important
constellation in the Heavens of Arda.
For thousands of years, by the guidance of the Iaurmenel, the
Order of the Seven has brought Light to Middle Earth
through deeds both big and small by Good People.
Whether through epic battle or secret errand, we thwart the enemy.
It is the accumulation of these Acts of Light that will
eventually dispense the Shadow from Middle-earth.
The Order of the Seven is a holy order of knights and septarians who strive to acquire the higher knowledge of life, and fight for the light in the world. We are men and women who actively pursue their destiny and seek the harmonization between the divine and the worldly being, through truth and strength of mind. We believe that the eternal knowledge of the divine is encompassed in every soul and hence, our acts shall at all times represent this knowledge.
Every member of the Order shall act in accordance to the fundamental seven tenets of Valour, Benevolence, Rectitude, Chivalry, Loyalty, Honesty, and Honour. We stand by the weak, the helpless, and the unjustly treated. We are fighting against darkness and evil in every place, and every form.
