Despite being an unwanted orphan and an ex-thief, the rat Rannie does have a sense of honor and rules that guide her life.
1. No Lies
There is always that very rare occasion where one needs to lie to protect those they care about but more times than not lies cause only trouble. The lie in of its self is often much worse than the truth your trying to hide. Then in the end the truth will come out anyways making all that work and effort pointless.
2. No Cruelty
No matter if you’re an honorable knight or a conniving woodland brigand, do good things or bad, the manner in which they are carried out matters. A high born knight that is cruel to those around him in words or in deeds is no better than a scheming thug. A thief or an assassin do what they need to survive but a thief can steal without causing harm and an assassin can kill without causing unneeded pain and suffering. If there isn’t a need to cause harm then don’t.
3. Faithfulness
If you are with someone in an established relationship you should never forsake that and their trust by sharing your company with another. Kindness and love are two ver hard to find in this world and they shouldn’t be mistreated when you have one or both of them. With that said you shouldn’t, as well, give your company to one who’s already taken by another. This can never end well and will only cause people to get hurt.
