A womans body was found in the prancing pony. Her throat slit. Further investigation, and reviews of old arrest records reveal her name to be Belbien.
There are no suspects other than the Ripper copycat killer Balthen. The victim fits his habits and preferences of victim.
The mayor has filed a complaint, due to Watcher Brucket 'delivering' the victims body to him rolled up in the carpet from the scene of the crime. Apparently Brucket told the mayor that he was dropping the carpet off for him, and that he was to clean it up and make use of it for his personal space. That is when the mayor discovered the body, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure Watcher Brucket is more disciplined in the future. The body has received proper burial.
