Background
Born to humble hobbits of the Padfoot family, residing in Budgeford, Lilinna spent much of her youth playing by the plentiful rivers and frolicking about the woodlands within the Shire, often looking forward to being greeted with birthday mathoms and embarking on all manner of quests and adventures with her fellow shirelings, who were no doubt inspired by the tales of Bilbo and his party of Dwarves.
Upon reaching thirty-three, her coming of age, she pursued her craft as a baker, sharing her passion for food with her fellow Hobbits, who were no less enthusiastic when it came to filling their bellies. She picked up most of her ability from her mother who was skilled in nourishing and cultivating the freshest ingredients from the family garden, while her father would often return from his days by the river with a nice catch, or two, if he was lucky!
Lilinna’s lineage was comprised of Stoors and Fallohides, a daughter of the woods and the river. Her name is sometimes shortened to ‘Lilypad’, which is often used to tease her amongst friends and family, but over time she has grown fond of playful moniker and lately insists that the name is used, as it makes for a good conversation starter around fresh faces.
For a time, Lilinna stayed within the nearby village of Frogmorton, working at the Floating Log Inn as a barmaid, and once her confidence had grown, a rather passionate cook. The patrons quite fond of her mushroom pie recipe, which proved to be quite a hit.
After gaining some independence, Lilinna inherited a cosy hobbit hole to call her own in the Southfarthing.
Nowadays she spends much of her time preparing food for festivals and merry occasions, though lately she has set her sights and her feet out of the Shire's bounds to mingle with larger folk from Bree, an increasing curiosity inspiring her to explore and discover, as she is reminded of the adventurous spirit which lingers from her early youth.
Since venturing forth on a few impromptu journeys, this curious hobbit has picked up some newfound techniques in the art of baking, and much to her own surprise, acquired the know-how to use and operate a crossbow from a kind and concerned traveler.
