Lady Seregrian of Torech Besruth is pleased to announce that Bar-en-Acharn shall host Tastaith-i-Aglar, "The Contest of Glory", an open RP/IC event featuring an armed tournament, the winner of which shall be declared Champion of the Day and earn great praise and glory for their House.
PLANNED HIGHLIGHTS SHALL INCLUDE:
- The Welcoming (on the List Field by Lady Seregrian);
- The Tournament (on the List Field by the line judges and the combatants)
- Court of the Champions (on the List Field by Lady Seregrian);
- Feasting and Revels to follow;
Dress is formal/semi-formal. Pets are welcome.
This will be an open RP event for all participants, whether on the field or in the crowd.
RULES:
The tournament shall be a double-elimination ladder. Combat will consist of "/roll" combat between the combatants, armed only with sword and shield, with win/lose determined upon five (5) successful hits on an opponent. Two line judges will determine the outcomes. Fighters will display emotes as to win or loss.
In addition to the Champion of the Day being decided by combat, an award for "Best Death" shall be presented for the most dramatic loss.
