Historical Origin: "Realising a dream"

It all began when a hobbit followed the scent of food into the Old Forest. Mist occurred, and many golden lights were highlighting the shape of a tall one. "No-mooo.“
"Waaah!“ so the startled hobbit. "Who are you?!“ Moving closer, he could identify a woman pressing five fingers against her forehead. "Nooo more! How will I be able to organise a cooking competition without any attendees?“ "A cooking competition?“ Only now did she notice the small one. "Count me in!“ Nomo might not have been a master cook, but he is a hobbit after all—always prepared for such a situation: ESPECIALLY this one!
And since the two were the ones competing, how else to reach a fair verdict bound to worthy rewards if not by the judgement of Master Gembeard. "Frimsi! What are you doing here?“

Satisfied about 1st place thanks to his unnecessarily overdecorated Yule pretzel, Nomo also thanked their host Tom Bombadil & Goldberry, before searching his way back out of the forest as the mist ceased right after, almost like fate.

Lots of dwarven jewellery he then offered the burrowing broker Andy Brockhouse, in order to be first on the list for some specially quiet plot of land… whenever it becomes available. Maybe next year? Or the one after?
Alas, waiting a while comes with a certain set of rumours: folk have noticed the kinship registration and all there is is its name to date. Thus, some are cracking jokes about handing out "wind for free!“. Grrr.

Recruitment (on hold until finished burrow)

Membership doesn’t require you to be active in the fields of art, it’s enough to at least enjoy being surrounded by them. Overall, it is about things like cleaning the rug, raising funds, or a bounder position or two.
