Diary Entry Eight

I actually managed to be in Imladris to attend the gathering in the Hall of Fire, I was impressed with the large variety of people there and not just representatives from the usual elven houses. It was nice to see the some from the Loth I Lonnath also attending the hall of milord Elrond, they looked very regal in their white formal attire. I really enjoyed seeing new faces among their ranks having time to speak with them.
There was music and entertainment from different sources, I was even surprised to see a few of the shire folk at the gathering.

The expedition to the recently unearthed temple in the Trollshaws was postponed for Imladris received word through the ties of Tagos with the Lossoth of some strange goings on from one of the large ice packs in the bay next to Suri Kyla. We moved swiftly under Lord Elronds command to investigate the goings on and we came across the source of the ancient relic which was discovered there previously.

The warband was well prepared and equipped so the decision was made to push hard into the icy lair. The morale and fellowship co operation was stunning to behold to even myself for we swiftly moved from cavern to cavern until we emerged at the top of the icy mountain to come face to face with another Gaunt Lord. With the morale of the fellowship flying high they struck hard at the Lord and his physical form was laid to rest. With the news passed onto the Lossoth at Suri Kyla we then headed back southward to the warmer climes.

I am told by the wordsmiths at the forge in Imladris that they have been asked by our Lord to reinvoke the enchantments upon his ancestral bow to refine their focus.

We have had a few new faces come to the warband seeking placement a few who were accepted and a few who were deemed not acceptable. Also we have a few of the Megil, Neth who have risen to the challenges set to them by the warband and who will require their quest shortly. Then they will be eligable to take the Oath.

Soon i plan to head south with Elisbeth to the deal with strange dreams which seem to have abated a little of late. At least my restful meditations are more forthcoming.
