Outward Appearance

A middle aged hobbit, thinner than you would expect. She wears travel worn patched, but clean clothes. She carries all her worldly possessions in a pack on her back and is sometimes accompanied by a scruffy (and thin) looking pony. You may find her sitting in the corner of an inn playing her lute or under a tree telling stories (if the weather is nice) Not quite a vagabond, not quite a respectable entertainer.

Background

Her family was tossed out of their hobbit-hole when Dewblossom was very young. Her father was a musician, her mother a gardner, but with nowhere to grow vegetables they started traveling as entertainers trying to get enough money to survive. They lived in a wagon drawn by 2 draft ponies.

Too young to truly understand she thought this was a marvelous adventure. Her mother was gentle, but frail hobbit and though she did her best raising her daughter and looking after her husband, Dewblossom turned into a tomboy.

Then one winter when Dewblossom was still in her tweens, her mother got caught out in the snow in Northfarthing and picked up pneumonia. She barely survived, but became bedridden and reluctantly agreed to contact her family, who disowned her when she married Dewblossom's father.

So Dewblossom met her grandparents for the first and they took her mother in, but forbade her father from coming near her. Dewblossom was tolerated, but did not live up to her grandparents standards. She and her father kept traveling, never very far from  Woodhall where her mother was. But when her mother passed away 6 months later, neither her, nor her father ever went back.

Her father taught her all the songs and stories he knew and she became as much of an entertainer as he was. Better even and eventually a day came when he could no longer face the road. By then they had a bit saved up and she convinced her dad to sell the wagon and one of the ponies so they would have enough to pay for him to stay with a lovely family in Bywater. She still goes there to visit whenever she is in the vicinity.
