Background
Aethaelbrand was originally one of Prince Theodred's men, a good messenger and swift rider, if not particularly handy with the sword. Eventually, however, as the enemies of Rohan pressed ever closer in, he was sent out to find allies. After several harrowing escapes and difficult fights, he found a Rohirrim army forming in exile, the Riders of the Riddermark. Now he rides with them to the aid of Rohan.
