| Age | Early twenties |
| Race | Man |

| Outward Appearance | Race/Ethnicity: Breelander (Trestlebridge) Skin Tone: Pale and tough Height: 5'11 Build: Decently thin, but still a bit of muscle. Eyes: Blue-green Hair: Shoulder length and dark Tattoos, Piercings, Marks, Scars, etc.: He has a few scars here and there, nothing too noticable on his face. He has a few bigger scars across his stomach, back and running down his arms. Appearance: Ellroy is an interesting young man, standing just below the height of the average Breeland man. His hair is thick and hangs around his shoulders, though he usually keeps it up and out of his face. His marshy, green-blue eyes always have a sort of nervous look about them and his gaze often is to the floor. Above his eyes are uneven, dark eyebrows that are always furrowed and cause a constant look of distress. His nose isn't particularly short or long, point or round, but it does look like it has been broken a few times. His thin lips are almost always curved into a slight frown, and if you see him smile it means he likes you an awful lot. Education: He can read and write decently in westron, but struggles with it at times. Languages spoken: Only Westron Weapons (if any): It is a rare occasion to see him without his bow and arrows. At other times a sword may be seen attached to his belt, and possibly a dagger (though those are usually hidden from sight). Special abilities/skills: He is an excellent bowman, and not bad on a horse. He's alright with a sword, and is pretty good with his fists, but his real talent is that he can climb up almost anything. It is not a surprise to find him sitting on a roof or in a tree, maybe even the rafters in the pony. Quirks and Habits: He is left handed. He laughs far harder when he doesn't understand a joke than when he does. When sitting, he often puts all of his fingers on the table, but not his hands or arms. Serious Problems/Flaws/Addictions/Disorders/Disabilities: He suffers from Insomnia, and Schizophrenia. |

Background
Ellroy grew up with no parents. This doesn't mean he raised himself and grew up on the street, it just means that his parents died when he was very young. He grew upin Trestlebridge with his "Aunt" and "Uncle". At the age of about fifteen he went with his uncle on a long hunting trip to Nan Amlug. There they were attacked by Angmarim. They were captured, tortured and most were killed. He was so confused. Why didn't they kill him? They kept him in a dark room where the sound of metal against metal could always be heard. It was only for a few weeks that he was kept in this room.
He went from one thing to another. He was put through different kinds of harassment (mental or physical), each worse then the other until one day it all stopped. He was put in a room with a dim lamp and left in there. they fed him and gave him enough water to survive. It was like this for a few months before they brought him out into the sun. beat him, and left him out in Nan Amlug. There he was found by a group of rangers led by a woman. This woman asked him about what happened in Angmar. He answered her questions the best he could, but he could not bring himself to describe some of the things he had seen. He found out that his Aunt had remarried, for she thought them both to be dead.
When he returned, he found that he had been gone for over a year. He was now seventeen years of age. It had been so long, and so much had changed. The ranger woman stayed in Trestlebridge for a few weeks and watched over him like a hawk watches over its prey... Almost as if she thought he was a threat... She and her rangers left them after a few weeks to return to their buisness with the Angmarim. He thought everything was going to return to the way it was, but he was wrong.
Everyone around the village treated him like he was a little abused puppy. He was growing tired of all the pity, but he couldn't bear to leave. This was his home, and he loved all the people in it...
It was not till orcs attacked that he left with his Aunt, but she was injured and didn't survive the trip to Bree. He is on his own and makes a living hunting animals and selling the furs and meat. He'll have to find his way through the busy town.
