Dagorwulf was born in the caverns of Helm's Deep, where his father had settled after spending many years in the libraries of Gondor.

He grew up and from boyhood aspired to join the Helmingas.

As a grown man, he did.

Spending a long time upon the walls, he was honing his skills in battle, and content to fulfill his duty as a guardsman.

His father though sent him north, on an errand to find the secret vale of the elves known as Rivendell, so Dagorwulf rode forth, carrying with him the letter his father had written, and the promise to find the elves.

The first gathering of elves he came across was in Ered Luin, so he read the letter to the elves there, then set out back east, as he realized he had travelled too far west.

In Bree he met an wandering elf, that told him to head further east, through the lone lands and the trollshaws, for there he would find the valley of Elrond.

Days later he managed to finally locate the vale, and with the aid of elves it's master, to whom he presented the letter, then took his leave.

These days he roams the area around Bree, hoping for word that the gap opens up, so he may return to his task of guarding Helm's Deep, and return to tell his father, that the task set before him, was caried out, and word was delivered to the elves.
