Most will not have heard of him. Hobbits of the Shire may remember a cousin of Hugo Bracegirdle having married a Proudfoot from the Westfarthing and having but one boy, a scamp who was always getting himself into trouble, as many tween lads do, starting from a habit of scrumping in the orchard of his uncle Everard (and getting his hands smacked with a switch for it), and culminating in an unseemly habit of finding himself in possession of oddments that others might have lost, from within their homes. (Particularly others who had done him or his family wrong, one couldn't help but notice if one took the time.) But the odd thing is, neither he nor his parents have been seen around in half a year, or more, and on one quite knows why. Perhaps they went on an adventure, or did something even worse.
