Ferohide Proudfoot is the only son of Postmaster Proudfoot in Michel Delving, the Shire. He can usually be seen wearing a rather pale brown outfit, his pride and joy : the Shirrif's Cap and a brown backpack. As son of a Postmaster he obviously learned his letters rather quickly. He's fascinated with the history of both the Shire and Middle Earth. To learn more about both he's had to travel about to read the required historybooks, which in turn led to him going on adventures. It all started small with wolf hunting and other small errands, but later grew to bigger and longer quests. Although his father valiantly denies it, he seems to have Took-blood flowing through his vains.
