Outward Appearance

Broad shoulders define this man's torso, built up with muscles from years of training in his youth. His stature is worn by age and he stands considerably shorter than many of the other men in his tribe, marking four inches below six foot. Strong legs carry him in his footsteps through the snow and ice of Forochel, usually aided by his polearm. His long axe has been by his side since the days of his youth, however, it now serves him exclusively as a walking stick, saving him from the many icy perils of the world.

On his face he adorns a collection of scars and wrinkles, though less than that which would be expected for a man with an upbringing as his own. His eyes are wholesome and curious, heading a strong resemblance to the waters of the Ice Bay. His hair is jet black and unruly, painted with strands of silver all-around. A wooly beard frames his jaw, similar in colour to his mane, however it is much grayer and is relatively well-kept, trimmed where it should be.

Across his person there are several articles of note: Hanging from a leather cord across his chest is a carved out mammoth tusk, many years older than its master. A brass mouthpiece at the end of it indicates that it is used for blowing, most likely for hunting, or perhaps for some sort of ritual. Along with this are several pouches which align his belt, filled with dried herbs and flowers, their fragrance soothing. Finally, he wears a thick, extravagant cloak as a brace against the cold. Of all his belongings, this appears to be the only that is in exceptional condition, with the furs smooth and brightly dyed.

Background

Birthed into an unusually large family of Lossoth decades ago, he had always held a certain connection with the elements, progressing in hunting and tracking, more so than most of his siblings. From a young age, he was exposed to nature, with his elder siblings introducing him to a wide field of positions that he could pursue in his tribe. However, he believed his calling to be with his people, and with saving their lives. As an aspiring healer, his ears and eyes were open to the knowledge his elders had for him, much of which he still retains in his old age. As his fellows slowly perished, he has outlived everyone who he once loved.

Although he holds no official position in the tribe, having long outgrown his profession as a healer, he is still eager to help when his people are in need. He devotes the bulk of his time to studying the weather and listening to the winds, tuning his senses to understand what he perceives to be his ancestors speaking with him. He now resides in Süri-Kylä, the lands which his brethren have inhabited, though this is not his home. He was born far to the South of the Ice Bay, through the great ice pass, in the village of Kauppha Kohta. His kin's migration North is somewhat questionable, however, one thing is certain; the loyalty he holds for his new tribe is unparalleled, and it would seem as though he would put his life before him if it meant their continuation.

Friends
Within his tribe, there are few who he deems friend, as most of his companions have already left this world. Overall, he is welcoming to all of the members of his tribe.
Relatives
He once was the youngest of a great family of two dozen, all of which have now perished.
Rivals/Enemies
Any who oppose the wellbeing of his tribe.
Loves
Solitude, a Successful hunt, Knowing that his people are safe.
Hates
The Susi Väki; the Gauredain which haunt his tribe.
Motivation
Become one with the Wind when his time comes, knowing that he has fulfilled his duty to his tribe and steered them in the direction which the gods intend.
Quotes
"The Winds have spoken, can you hear them? They speak of a thousand generations, telling their successes and their failures. Listen closely, and perhaps you will not fall to the same vices as they."
