No one in Winter-home could tell Nouvelet about her family or where she came from, all she knows is that she was born deaf and lives her life in silence. Despite her disability however, Nouvelet has learned to  talk (slowly), by reading people's lips and with the help of Master Ronald Dwale. During the day she used to fetch water, build fires and wash dishes in the kitchens of the G.L.O.B.E. theater.  She had to work hard and had little time to play, Nouvelet was noticed one  evening by Master Dwale as she was  looking at the illustrations of a fairy tale book she had found in his office.  In the following  months, Nouvelet was to spend  a few hours every evening learning to read and write , lip reading and even music. "Just because your ears don't work doesn't mean that  you  cant create beautiful music, Nouvelet" Master Dwale used to say to her. Nouvelet 's greatest dream is to perform as a leading actress at the G.L.O.B.E. one day . At the end of the last winter Nouvelet has left Frostbluff in the hope to get some acting training in Bree.
