Originally from the North, Aerdil (S. "sea-friend") went south to serve in the army of Gondor, as per the tradition of his family. His original name isn't widely known as he uses the name that was given to him in Pelargir, where he spent the most of his stay as a man-at-arms for the Stewards. After leaving Gondor - some rumours say because of a tavern fight - Aerdil returned to the North. With the family farm in the North Downs being in a bad condition, he has offered his hand in odd jobs, mainly guard and mercenary work. He has also joined his father and the extended family for expeditions, not all which are said to withstand the light of the day. Contrary rumours, however, state that he is known to the Elves and Dwarves of the Blue Mountains and not a brigand at all.
