Ale

Durin's Day, year 2894 of the Third Age, Hammersmith Hall,

This day was a day I would remember forever.  The day promised to be a normal Durin's Day in Hammersmith Hall.  The Ale Association was here, selling their ales and meads, and minstrels singing the songs of our forefathers.

offer us some mead , and we'll take all we need

but give us some beer , and we'll all have some good cheer!!!

       Aflo's father, Pifo Alefoot, was a very important Hobbit in the Inn League, he could drink 31 Green Dragon's Breath Ale's staying only a little bit light-headded, he won very drinking contests, facing the dwarves, hobbit's, elves, and man.

       Pifo was always out of home, he spent alot of his time doing "services" for the Inn League. One dat he went to Bree, there was a meeting in the Prancing Pony. In that day some thieves decided to rob the Prancing Pony.

A Poem about Ale

Here's a tale about ale
Be it dark, be it pale
So head, without fail
To the Inn to drink ale!

Made with barley and hops
With some froth on the top
Drink up the last drop
You won't want to stop!

Drink it from a small mug
Or from a large jug
Just take a long glug
It's like having a hug!

Now buy one more beer
The bar is quite near
The price is not dear
It will fill you with cheer!
