Eliriael plays for a moment during the picnic and encourages her friends to all dance!

Friends, some well-acquainted with Lorien and some new, gather for a picnic at an enchanting location in the Golden Woods.

Finally, ​Makanárë and her companions reach the banks of the Anduin, and all stay a moment in quiet contemplation. East lies the Greenwood, and the shadow which has fallen on it; West lie the lands protected by the Lady Galadriel, a wood that is nonetheless beleaguered on several sides by encroaching enemy forces. Though this be the end of their road eastwards from Imladris, it is only the beginning of a new journey.

On meeting Alcartano, the group finds that a message of welcome has been extended to them by the Lord and Lady of the Golden Wood. 

The company of elves, led by Alcartano, an emissary of the Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn, next to a bridge that leads towards Caras Galadhon.

Although most part of the City of Trees is still hidden behind the many Mellyrn, a great light may be perceived from afar.
