A letter to Manadhlaer, the Lady ot the house of healing, Bar-en-Vanimar

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

A letter is delivered to the house of healing, addressed to Lady Manadhlaer, in the last week of the month Gwirith.

It may not be as elegantly written as one of her own, but the flowing handwriting of Ealendil in the form of the Tengwar common to Doriath of old, is quite distinguishable.

Dear Lady Manadhlaer

Elves from Lindon, and afar, had gathered to celebrate Nost-na-Lothion - Birth of Flowers, on the meadow outside Duillond in Lindon.

Ealendil and Maedhrathin having travelled from Imladris to Lindon for the summer partook in the celebrations. Greetings and tales were shared, music and dancing enjoyed, seeds for the future planted, and flower petals were thrown.

Letters to the Lady of the Harp, Bar-en-Vanimar

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Dear Lady Elvealin,

The work with you my lady, within the Order of the Harp, has given me much comfort and been immensely gratifying, and I have come to consider you a dear friend. It has also given my life a renewed sense of direction in my work to preserve our cultural heritage of music and prose. Ever since my mother sailed west, leaving me with a rich heritage of music from old, I have strived to honor her legacy, and it is with you have found the joy to do so.

Narturme, quelled but not quenched, there is ever fire waiting to be ignited in the hearts of the Exiled, like the heath of a forge, the brightness of flames, a reflection of light. Did you inherit such spark, young Eärcalië?

Nunheryn, my gardener, is showing off this year’s yield of grapes in the Vineyard. He is very smug, that insufferable scoundrel, but he has an almost surreal knack for nurturing those vines.

Nan aear adh in elin, it does look like I will finally be able to pay for much needed repairs on the old family house.

Lindon, Ered Luin, River Lhûn and south-eastern vales… Home. It is marvelous to be back after weeks and days on the road. Trees still in full bloom greet me, and I can’t stop tears of joy trickle down my cheeks as I near my old family house.

Hopefully, just hopefully, this year’s yield of grapes will be enough to pay for the upcoming winter repairs. The good Naugrîm of Thrain’s vale do charge a lot, but their workmanship is incomparable.

Whitebird

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Whitebird

Skytraveller, Skytraveller,
Where hither dost thou go?
Stand tall and spread thy wings,
Scatter the seeds of growth thou shallt sow,

Quickwing, Quickwing,
Raise thy eyes to the night,
Follow the Mariner's guidance,
Let the air cleanse you as you take flight,

Whitebird, Whitebird,
With thy everlasting laugh,
Ascend in a storm of feathers,
Find the whole in the path you tread half,

In the wilds of Lindon
