The Elves of the Bar-en-Vanimar invite any Elves or Elf-friends in Imladris to attend a celebration dear to their hearts. Many of that House are survivors, or descendants of survivors of the great city of Gondolin, and they continue to remember the 'Gates of Summer', though not without some sorrow. Yet the festival is a joyful one. Music, dancing, memories recalled are encouraged. Some of us are putting on a show, based on the old Elven legends found in the Quenta Silmarillion. This show is called, "Before the Sun and Moon," and it includes the creation of the Two Trees, the meeting of Yavanna and Oromë in the Wilds, the creation of the Dwarf-fathers, and Yavanna's concern. The band, Lindamar, will be providing the live score! We will perform on Landroval server on 24 March at 4:15 pm (server time), and we hope to perform on Laurelin server in April. We need an actor (a Man or Elf) to portray Telperion the Tree, and a master of lore with an eagle pet to portray the Elder King, and four Dwarven actors to portray various Dwarf-fathers (especially someone to portray Durin Longbeard).
