Upon Journeying to the Shire he hears a thunrder. On a rock he hops and gazes around; weather dark, skies ready to erupt. Such strange beauty has the landscape gives an unexpected peaceful feeling. A drop falls, then another and another, and with a smile he extends an arm for a meaningless catch. You just can't hate a bit of harmless drizzle, he thinks. In fact, there's nothing to hate in the lands of the Halflings. He straightens his hat, slides down the rock on the moist earth and carries on, a step after the other.

(Daerundros thoughtfully places the tip of her quill on her lip, thinking of something to write, before she jolts, filled with an idea, and begins to scribble)

6th Orgilion of Laer, T.A 3018

Ah, where to begin.

The Long Road to Eriador

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Traveling all by oneself can be a dull affair. Morhan knew that very well by now. Thus, when upon reaching the Great West Road going from Gondor towards Rohan he came by a caravan heading towards Edoras, he eagerly tagged along. The safety in numbers didn't hurt either, especially when the caravan was being escorted by a detachment of Gondorian soldiers; The escort of a young man from a Gondorian noble family. Morhan wasn't the first to get the idea either, as there were already a group of other assorted travellers.

A hard road

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Pain shot trough the dwarves body, coursing from his legs, trough his lower back and all the way up to the very top of his head. The dwarf smiled, welcoming the sensation like an old friend. "So I am not dead yet", Dweri muttered and stumbled on his legs, gribbing the half-drawn greatsword on his back and drawing it out from it's sheath. Dweri winced, the sudden movement blurring his vision and filling it with bright flashes of light. Still he heard a bellowing to his right hand side and the cracking of twigs, root and stones under mighty limbs.
