Andarne

My beloved has returned to me and to our son. I am filled with joy!

I wandered Imladris with Nemben and there was my herven, my meleth. Oh how brightly he shone, within armour of white. I felt as if in a dream. My beloved Andarne is back!

We held one another and Nemben spoke to Andarne for the first time. A sweet "Father", came from our son's lips. My love was overwhelmed with happiness. We wandered to our guest quarters of the house of Elrond where I was told, to a certain degree, why Andarne made a swift departure.

Dearest Baingol,

Your swift departure left me feeling confused. I had a feeling the reason would be duty-wise, but I wish you would have consulted me first. I do not like being left in the dark.

At your word, I would make for Lothlórien, to be with you. Our son misses you so much, he needs his father. I wish for us to be a family, together again. You may be in the homeland for a long time. Please, if you cannot travel to us, allow us to travel to you.

Still, no word from my beloved. He has been gone a long time. I cannot bear it. I wish he would send a letter or any indication that he is well. I wish to know why he left so swiftly. It must be duty? Surely? Perhaps the Lady will know? I should send a letter.

Nemben misses his father terribly, I can sense it. I attempt to continue on to the best of my abilities, but without my husband's support... it is so difficult.

I am thankful to be home, safe. Apparently I was missing for near two months. I know not how I survived for so long without my family, without comfort, without hardly any food or water. I am just so glad Baingol found me, along with friends.

These people put their lives on the line, for me. The Olog-hai are very dangerous... anyone could have perished. People still had hope I was alive. I held onto hope that I would be found. I was not going to waste away and die, not when my family needed me.

Words cannot express how I truly feel right now. I feel so much happiness, so much warmth, that putting my feelings onto parchment will not do them justice. I am now a mother to a beautiful son, as my dreams and visions told me I would be.

Dearest sister,

Joyous tidings I bring forth to you in this letter. But two eves ago, Andarne and I welcomed our child into the world. The child is indeed a son, like our dreams told us he would be. I am so happy!
