*A flayer appear at your feet. You decide to pick it up and read the following*

The North is in great danger! These lands that were once a part of the great realm of Arnor is not as safe as they used to be. Mysterious black riders have been spotted roaming these lands, spreading terror in the hearts of free folk as they ride past. Trolls are coming down from their caves in the mountains. More daring than usual. Orcs are attacking villages, burning and looting, in great numbers as well! They are rumored to be working with wicked men, answering to a call from an ancient evil....one that was believed to have been defeated a long time ago...

What will you do? Will you answer the call? Will you join and serve a greater purpose? I will not sit idly by and watch these once great lands be defiled by filth any longer! I will stand up and fight. Are YOU with me?

((OOC: Hey there! Looking to see if there is any interest to start up a new kin. It's going operate in the regions that used to be a part of Arnor. We will be a military kin first and foremost. We will be able to use a type of gameplay to make the RP more alive and interesting as far as warfare goes. My hope is that we should be at least 8 people before we can start any war scenario. Please, if you are interested, just pm me here, or contact me in game via chat or mail by Farathan. Thank you!))

((Across Bree-Land, the statements once posted by Banoloc have been posted over the originals))

The Network's grasp has fallen upon Bree, and this humble merchant was not enough to defy them.

The same will be said of any who make this grievous mistake of underestimating this formidable organization will doubtless suffer the same fate. The Network intends to stay in this city, and similar woe will befall it's detractors from now on. The hobbit lives because we allowed him to live, and his signature has been given here to attest to his surrender.

((A set of handwritten letters strewn about the stables, markets, and commercial hubs of several major Bree-Land settlements.))

To all the good merchants and legitimate working folk of these fine lands, I am Bandoloc Hayweather, long time business-hobbit of Staddle and beyond. Know now that on not one, but now two separate occasions, I have been accosted by uncouth rascals claiming to be collecting their so-called "monthly fines." While I have been innocently peddling my wares within the intended safety of Bree's walls, providing service to the people of this good town, these unrepentant criminals have destroyed my stock and posed threat to my life, and the lives of others.

This cannot go on, and I have it on good authority the perpetrators of these attacks ally with the so-called group who refer to themselves as "The Network," these folk hide and creep among the people of this town, many of them keeping legitimate businesses in the town. The injustice peddled by these thugs cannot continue, if by any chance you should know the identity of any member of the network, I encourage you to come forth and provide evidence and testament to their crimes. Until we see The Network wiped from our town however, I encourage all merchants of this land to make yourselves as hard to prey upon as you can, band together whenever you must travel, hire protection if you can afford to, or if possible learn to take up the defense for yourself and your neighbors.

We are Bree-Landers, we have survived their lot before, we shall do so again.
