On May 21st, Saturday, 3pm server time, the kinship Mordraug, will be hosting a masked ball. It will be a fun-loving party in which many characters can come together, chat about their adventures, have a drink, and take a break from fighting the forces of evil. The ball will be hosted by none other than Wolf, the familiar games master often seen in Bree Town and his friends.
To attend, you are required to wear a mask that covers part or all of the face. Hoods will not be accepted as proper attire (Unless there is a mask attached to the hood as well). You will also be expected to be respectful to others OOCly and ICly. If you are OOCly trolling or just generally disrespectful during the event, you will be expected to leave. IC rudeness due to character development will have the same result, so it is suggested to not come if your character is going to cause a ruckus.
If you still want to attend, then the event will be held at the Bree-land homestead, Henstead, 5 Long Street. We hope to see you there and bring your friends!

Greetings wandering beardling!
As ye venture into the towns of men, ye might have heard the rumours that tell of the decline of the Dwarven realms. They say that we sit idly by whilst others face the sleepless malice. As ye might be aware of, King Dain II Ironfoot is trying to counter these rumours and for that he calls out to all the Dwarves of the Seven Houses to reunite under the banner of the kinship of Durin’s Folk so we can show our strength has not yet faded!
But not only warriors are welcome to join our cause, for we also revel in exercising the crafts we have excelled at since the awakening of the Seven. Whether that be smithing, mining, masonry, cartography, trade, etc. ye are heartily welcomed to join our skillful ranks!
Of course, there are also those Dwarves that take greatest pleasure in merriment and song! So, are ye not much for hard work, but do ye feel like ye suffer a shortage in malt beer, salted pork and hairy women? Then come and enjoy the fine hospitality of the Dwarves of Durin’s Folk! For we have plenty of all!
Azadrud, Zabad of Enrollment and keeper of the Book of Mamazkul

Bid by Marshal of the East-mark, Lord Éomer, Eorlsmead Éored was assembled by Régnwald of Folde to secure the safety of the land. Those who trust in their strength in arms shall have a word with him.

Join our fury, bring honour to your name!

((Neatly written fliers would be pinned up around Bree-land, and would read as follows.))
Attention citizens of Bree-Land
Yet again the Network has been forced to issue another warning to demonstrate what happens to those who oppose and betray us. Oddisa, a woman who stayed around Bree attempted to sell information to the Bree-watchers. She was taken to a room in the Prancing Pony, blinded and left to drown in her own blood. This is the fate of a traitor.
Once again, those that oppose the Network will not be allowed to go unchecked, not even the watch. We are growing stronger by the day and will continue to do so. For your sake and that of you friends and family, do not oppose us.
Steel and coin are king, the Network

((Below a description of what is written on several parchments attached around the town walls of Bree before the dawn. Should someone have seen the person circling the Town attaching these posters, it could be safely said that for the person's small build it was not a grown up but a mere child, most likely hired to commit the task.))
Townsfolk of Bree!
The guards and law enforcers acting under the Mayor’s rule have repeatedly crossed the line and acted recklessly against the wellbeing of the townsfolk. Instead of protecting us, they menace us.
What gives these chosen few the right to judge you? To decide how to read the laws?
It is forbidden to thieve, yet they thieve us in the name of taxes.
It is forbidden to take one by force, yet they lock us into their Jail whenever our faces piss them off.
It is forbidden to murder, yet they murder us if we oppose their ruthless means.
And for taking all this power over us …we pay them.
Should they not pay for their crimes against us instead?

((You hear rumors floating around town of a Dwarf noble who has arrived in Bree, seeking aid and passage to the Blue Mountains. People are saying that Dwarves bearing the crest of Veinbolt's Company, a once great but long forgotten Dwarvern clan, have been flooding into town seeking out this noble. Rumor has it that the long lost Lord of the clan has arrived in Bree and his followers are seeking him out. This notice has recently been pinned up in the town center and bears the crest of Veinbolt's Company.))
People of Bree,
Any who seek coin, glory or protection should find me and report any rumors of the appearance of Lord Borimi Veinbolt. His company shall return and his friends shall be remembered.
Signed,
Pheili, Steward of Lord Borimi Veinbolt.
((This is an attempt at reviving Veinbolt's Company, a once very large kinship that has fallen into a state of disrepair. We're a rank 10 Kinship with a fully furnished Kinhall and lots of ideas and events planned. We're looking for Dwarves interested to join but also this is just an open invitation to RP. Any races are welcome to seek out Borimi, Pheili or Lord Veinbolt's ex-advisor Azkas, to plan and RP any future alliances, events or rivalries.))
Contact Borimi or Pheili if you want to get involved with Borimi's return to power.
Contact Azkas if you want to get involved with finding Lord Veinbolt and returning him to the Blue Mountains.

Attention Bree-land! A new pub will be opening up in Bree-land soon, the Dragons Lair! This will be an establishment whose doors will be open to all who would wish to visit. We offer the finest ales, transported all the way from the Blue Mountains by the famous Ale Association itself. We will offer you many a fine drink, as well as gambling for those that have coin. For those that want a pub outside of the hustle and bustle of Bree-town, this is for you. A great place where you can discuss business without fear of reprisal, where you can spend coin and know that you will get what you pay for, and where you can go for a night out that you can look back on and smile.
But first things first, we are now employing and looking for staff to work as bar staff, bartenders and so on. If you are interested in making good coin for good work, then leave word at the carpenters office in Bree-town, and they will pass your interest onto the ownership so you can meet and discuss terms.
((This is essentially na idea to get some fun rp going. The hope is that this pub will be a front for the criminal organization, the Network, and become a place where criminals can meet and talk without risk, and a place where people can gamble and drink freely. If you are interested in using the pub for any rp events, or interested in working there, please message Nogfrid or Lorgorim))

*A note near the homesteads and around Bree-town displays the following message*
To all inhabitants of Cranbridge,
Of late we have noticed that the door to the old meeting hall in Cranbridge has been unlocked and opened.
We are currently unsure who and if anyone has taken shelter within the old, abandoned, hall.
To those who are curious about the matter we advice to take heed upon approaching the hall as its not known what or who may be inside!
Please take caution!
- Bree-town homestead association
((OOC: I have managed to build a Kinhall on 5 Longstreet but due to my characters natue I won't be using it Icly very often. Therefore I have chosen to make it open to the public!
If you wish to plan a gathering or simply need a place to rp privately with some friend but you don't have a Kinhall yet, then feel free to use mine as a temporary shelter! Icly the building is indeed an old Meeting hall that has been abandoned long ago. It can also be used as a shelter for the ''less'' fotunate in life.
I hope you off the community can enjoy the hall! And of course a nice day to you all))
